The Natural Lodge at Donna Carmela Resort received a special mention in the IN/ARCH Sicilia In/Architettura 2020 awards, in the new construction category under €5 million. The jury recognised the dialogue between simple timber volumes, lush gardens and the Ionian coastal landscape, as well as the continuity between inside and outside.

FUD received one of five special awards from 226 entries in the first national competition organised by IN/ARCH, Gambero Rosso, Roma Tre University, Artribune and Archilovers. The award recognised its functional and spatial organisation of a diverse food offer and its reinterpretation of the original space.
